About the Consulting Editor
Alan R. Feuer is an author of technical books, the creator of programming courses, and the developer of commercial software. He is best known for his books, The C Puzzle Book and The C Trainer. Mr Feuer was formerly a member of the technical staff at Bell Laboratories, where he developed a set of analytical tools that became part of AT&T's
standard UNIX.

Joseph M. Newcomer is the president of The Joseph Newcomer Company. His thirty year career has ranged from being on the faculty of Carnegie Mellon University to software methodology at the Software Engineering Institute, where he was one of the founding scientists.
